You must be between the ages of 14 and 20 to join our program. If you are below this age, however, you may join our partners at NYPD SSD Explorer Club 0510
The NYPD Supplies the standard issue uniform after six months of service to the program. Before that, explorers must wear the designated explorer propbationary uniform which consists of:
- A Navy Blue Polo Shirt
- Khaki / Beige Colored Pants
- Black Socks
- Black Sneakers
- Two Black Pens
- A Black Wrist Watch.
The Explorer Program does require a $24 annual fee to remain a registered explorer. Please Contact Us If There you are experiencing any financial difficulty in relation to the program.
