NYPD EXPLORER POST 2122

Law Enforcement Explorer Post 2122 based out of the NYPD 122nd Precinct in Staten Island

ABOUT US

Law Enforcement Exploring is designed to provide educational training programs for young adults on the purposes and objectives of Law Enforcement. Specifically, NYPD Explorer Post 2122 offers many aspects, such as hands-on training, community service, and educational training opportunities based around those skills pertinent to law enforcement, as well as everyday life.

WHAT WE DO

We engage in hands-on, Law Enforcement Training, acting out realistic scenarios such as Domestic Violence, Explosive Threats, White Collar Crime, and Traffic Stops, among many other diverse and interactive scenarios that prepare us for both real-life and our annual explorer competitions. All of our explorers have the opportunity to be trained in life-saving techniques such as CPR and First Aid. Explorers learn discipline through the performance of Para-Military style drills. Furthermore, we perform various community service events often, teaching explorers the importance of community, while serving others. Lastly, we can be found marching in parades such as the Travis Fourth of July Parade or the Annual Staten Island St. Patricks Day Parade.
